Morocco adds a different texture to a Portugal journey: medina lanes, courtyard stays and meals that unfold slowly. In five days, Tangier and Chefchaouen make a more comfortable pairing than attempting to combine the north, Fes and Marrakech.
The proposal is subject to suitable local partner arrangements, accommodation and transport confirmation. Travel from the Algarve may involve a transfer to Spain and a scheduled ferry, or flights where practical; border formalities, weather and sailing changes must be allowed for. We review passport and visa requirements for your nationality before finalising plans. Fes or Marrakech would require a different route or more nights.

Day 1 · Arrival in Tangier
Allow the day for transfers, any crossing or flight, and arrival formalities before settling into your accommodation.
Day 2 · Tangier
A private guided introduction to the medina and the city's coastal setting, with lunch and the afternoon at your pace.
Day 3 · Into the Rif
Transfer to Chefchaouen, check in and take a gentle first walk through the old town.
Day 4 · Chefchaouen
Explore with a local guide, allowing time for crafts, regional cooking and a relaxed afternoon. Stepped lanes require some walking.
Day 5 · Return or onward travel
Transfer towards Tangier for your confirmed onward arrangements. Same-day connections and any return to Portugal need careful timing.
